Active Day Care means different things to different people. Some parents want their children to feel at home, make friends, and eat healthy food while also getting adequate rest. Others are concerned about how a child achieves school readiness in terms of learning the basics of reading.
Children aged between 3 to 4 belong to our pre-school program which ideally integrates academic materials plus creative and thematic concepts to make the foundation stronger for each child’s future success in life; the stronger the start, the greater the finish.
First Steps is committed to providing an excellent education that meets each student’s interests, abilities, and needs and promotes an appreciation for diversity in our community as an integral part of school life. First Steps challenges each student to develop intellectual independence.
The curriculum for the kindergarten classes has been structured to foster the development of lifetime cognitive skills. We encourage our children to become accomplished readers and writers, skilled in mathematics and practiced in the arts of observation, creative thinking, and problem solving.
